Geometry Vibes X Ball is an arcade title that follows an earlier entry in the Geometry Vibes series. In X-Ball mode you get interactive new levels, a challenge section and a store. Each level asks you to steer a flying object past obstacles, traps and gears. You hold the left mouse button or the up arrow to climb, and let go to drop. The game also lists multiplayer options, with 2, 3 and 4 player modes where the other players use the up arrow, H and L. A single-player mode is listed as well, so you can take on the levels on your own. The mix of quick vertical control and hazard dodging gives each run a different feel.

How to play

1. Press and hold the left mouse button or the up arrow to make your object fly upward.
2. Release the button or key to let the object dive downward.
3. Guide the object past the obstacles, traps and gears placed in each level.
4. In 2, 3 or 4 player modes, the other players steer with the up arrow, H and L.
5. Visit the challenge section and the store from X-Ball mode when you want more to do.

Tips & tricks

• Hold to climb and release to drop, so plan your height before each obstacle.
• Traps and gears appear in every level, so watch the whole screen, not just the path ahead.
• The challenge section is a separate place to test your control of the up-and-down movement.
• In multiplayer modes, each player uses a different key, so agree on who takes which one.
