About this game

Defend your territory in Defense Plants, a strategic tower defense game where powerful plants battle waves of dangerous monsters. Choose your plants, place them carefully, collect resources, unlock upgrades, and survive increasingly challenging levels.

In Defense Plants you take charge of a patch of ground and hold it against incoming monsters. Your tools are plants, and each one you pick has to be set down on the battlefield in a spot that makes sense. Between waves you gather resources, which you then spend on upgrades through the on-screen buttons. The levels do not stay easy, so the way you arrange your plants and the order you improve them both matter. It is a single-player game, and it runs in a browser on desktop with a mouse or on mobile with touch controls.

How to play

1. Pick a plant from the selection available to you.
2. Click or tap a spot on the battlefield to place the chosen plant there.
3. Collect the resources that come in and put them toward upgrades.
4. Use the on-screen buttons to manage your plants, items, upgrades and to pause.
5. Keep placing and improving plants so you can survive each level as the waves get harder.

Tips & tricks

• Choose your plants before you start placing them, since the selection shapes how you defend.
• Place plants deliberately rather than quickly, because position is what decides whether a wave is stopped.
• Collect resources as they appear so you have something to spend on upgrades.
• Unlock upgrades early enough that later levels are not fought with the same strength you started with.
