Gowns, crowns and the make-believe of royalty

The princess is one of the oldest characters in children's play, and the games follow the toy box rather than the history book: a wardrobe of gowns, a hall of mirrors, a ball to prepare for and a kingdom that needs a little tidying. Almost everything here plays with a finger.
