Defend the Castle is a wave-defense strategy game about spending two resources — gold and wood — faster and smarter than the enemy can spend soldiers. Cannons and archers each answer a different kind of threat, and the layout of your defenses matters as much as their number. Waves escalate steadily, so the game keeps asking the same sharp question: upgrade what you have, or build one more?

How to play

Build defenses around the castle using your gold and wood.
Place archers and cannons to cover the enemy approach routes.
Survive each wave, then spend what you earned before the next one lands.
Upgrade key defenses as waves grow — keep the King alive.

Mouse / tap: Place, select and upgrade defenses

Tips & tricks

Cover the routes enemies actually use before spreading out — an unused tower is wasted gold.
A small number of upgraded defenses usually beats many weak ones.
Never end a build phase with a full purse: unspent resources do nothing during a wave.
